GIRLS GOLF PLAYS IN MARSHALL

It was a blustery day for the Rebels at the girls 18-hole Marshall Invitational. With a few meets under their belts, most of the girls felt very confident going into the meet. The competition was stiff, but MCC’s golfers played outstanding and every player carded a personal best.

GOOD NEWS

GREEN THUMB

By Arnold Krusemark Another week has passed in April. Our yard and gardening work continues but slowly. We do notice the first flowers of Spring. We’ve seen tulips in their beautiful flowers. And then our yard has dandelions too. Soon we will need the lawn mowed. For now the grass is growing. As mentioned in past columns most of us need to do some yard cleanup. Usually we also had our first bonfire to dispose of the dead branches which came down over winter. The occasional rains are nice too. Then we can have good things growing - not just flowers. And our garden needs work too. This includes clearing, plowing and then planting. And then to watch for our first garden produce - radishes of course.
