MCC BOYS GOLF TEAM PLAYED IN WORTHINGTON

MCC’s boys traveled to Worthington this past Saturday to compete in the Trojan Invite. The weather felt even colder than it was for the girls who played just two weeks prior. Despite the inclement weather, the Rebels had a solid performance against some challenging competition.

MCC was led by sophomore Lucas Kuball who posted an 89 for the round and tied for 9th place overall. Kuball carded four pars, a birdie on hole 12, and an eagle on hole 6. When reflecting on his round Kuball stated, “I think I played really well and had really good putting and driving. I kept a good attitude and kept pushing.” The Rebels finished in 7th place as a team with a score of

393. MCC’s golfers continue to make nice improvements individually, which will help them as a team going forward into conference play. Boys Individual Medalists:
