It was a blustery day for the Rebels at the girls 18-hole Marshall Invitational. With a few meets under their belts, most of the girls felt very confident going into the meet. The competition was stiff, but MCC’s golfers played outstanding and every player carded a personal best.

The Rebels shot well, but had to fight some vicious winds. Rachael Huso came in with the low for MCC with an 88. She played consistently throughout the day and carded three pars on both the front and the back nine. Huso tied for seventh place out of 47 golfers. Behind her for the Rebels was Ava Johnson with an 89. Johnson carded two pars throughout her round and finished tied for ninth. The team was able to pull together a total of 396 and finish in 6th place.
