PQA AND TQA CERTIFICATION SESSIONS SCHEDULED

University of Minnesota Extension, in partnership with Minnesota Pork Board, will offer Pork Quality Assurance (PQA) Plus and Transport Quality Assurance (TQA) certification sessions in Marshall on Thursday, July 22.

The quality assurance sessions will be held at the AmericInn (1406 E Lyon St., Marshall, MN). The PQA Plus certification session is scheduled from 9 a.m. to noon. The TQA certification session is scheduled from 1 to 4 p.m.

MCMC WELCOMES TOM BERGMAN TO THE TEAM

The Murray County Medical Center is very pleased to welcome new provider Tom Bergman to the team. “I was born in this hospital,” stated the new physician’s assistant, “and I’ve wanted to come back for a long time.”

DINEHART FRONT PORCH MUSIC SERIES

The Murray County Historical Society is excited to announce this season’s lineup of Dinehart Front Porch Music Series concerts. The concerts are free and open to everyone. Bring your own blanket or lawn chair. Free refreshments will be available. Each concert begins at 7pm and features the following performances:

Thursday July 22: Kordal Kombat: a local barbershop and acapella group with national appearances.

Thursday July 29: The Skally Line: an acoustic folk group specializing in historical music.

SLAYTON AREA COMMUNITY BAND CONCERT JULY 15TH

The Slayton Area Community Band welcomes you to Gullord Park on Thursday, July 15th at 7:00 PM for our sixth and final concert of the season. The band, directed by Christie Gergen, will be playing a list of their favorites. Come and join us to tell us your favorites as well. You won’t want to miss this concert!
