SAVE THE DATE! SECOND ANNUAL TOUCH-A-TRUCK IN THE WORKS

Murray County Early Childhood Initiative (ECI) is excited to bring Touch-a-Truck back this summer! The ECI Toucha- Truck will be from 10 a.m. to noon on Saturday, June 8 at the Murray County Fairgrounds.

What is Touch-A-Truck? It’s a family-friendly event that gives kids of all ages the opportunity to explore big vehicles they see every day. The goal is a handson experience to better understand how the trucks work and who makes them go. Kids and families get a chance to see trucks and equipment up close, learn what they do, understand vehicle safety, pose for photos, and ask the vehicle operator questions.

There will be vroom vrooms, honk honks, beep beeps and more, but from 10 to 11 a.m., there will be no loud noises, so those with sensory concerns can join in on the fun.

ECI is looking for businesses and organizations, farmers and individuals who would like to bring their trucks or fun vehicles to the event in June. Anyone who is interested can contact Josh Malchow at 507525-4469 or email murraycountyeci@ gmail.com.
