The Rebels traveled to Sanborn on Monday to play in a triangular against Red Rock Central and Mountain Lake Area. Although it was a little windy, the sun was bright and warm. MCC’s girls had the opportunity to play the course prior to their first conference meet on Thursday.

For the boys Hudson Schryvers had a strong performance with three pars on the round. He finished with a score of 50 and finished tied in fifth place. MCC finished in second place as a team with a score of 213. The boys struggled off the tee box across the board. They were able to make up some room with great shots in the fairways. Ava Johnson led the girls with a 46, and finished in 1st place individually. Johnson carded three pars on her round. In second place was Rachael Huso with a 53. The team shot a total of 211 defeating RRC. MCC’s players stated that they need to continue finding more consistency throughout their rounds, and not letting a bad shot impact the next.
